New phones impress with features and full metal body
Indian market is witnessing new models of mobile phones from various manufacturers on a daily basis. Today, in an event held in Bengaluru, OPPO launched R7 Plus and R7 Lite - two new phones in the R7 series with full metal body.
While R7 Plus has a 6 inch full HD AMOLED display, R7 Lite features a 5 inch HD screen. Both of them run on v2.1 of OPPO's custom flavor of Android called the ColorOS. These dual SIM 4G smartphones come with an option of trading one SIM slot in favor of using a micro SD card. They sport a 13 MP primary and 8 MP front cameras, with impressive features (such as the Laser Focus seen in R7 Plus).
R7 Plus comes with 1.5GHz octa-core 64 bit processor, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB storage, 4100 mAh battery and will be available for Rs 29,990 starting 25th September 2015. With the VOOC rapid charging solution, this battery is expected to last long enough for a two-hour call with just five minutes of charging.
R7 Lite, on the other hand, is powered by a 1.3GHz Octa-Core processor. It offers 2 GB RAM, 16 GB storage and a 2320 mAh battery. This device is priced at Rs 17,990 and will be available starting 10th September 2015.
