ZenFone 3S Max to be launched soon
Taiwan-based technology major ASUS has announced ZenFone 3S Max as the latest addition to its very successful ZenFone Max series. Keeping the awesome 5000 mAh battery unchanged, ZenFone 3S Max comes with a slim aluminum metal body design, a fast fingerprint sensor and a high performance camera - all in a very handy size sporting a 5.2 inch HD IPS display.
Equipped with a 13MP rear camera and a 8MP selfie shooter that supports an 85° wide field of view, and has a variety of modes like Beautification, HDR and Low-light. Both cameras can shoot videos in Full-HD resolution, and ASUS' PixelMaster continues to impress with its neat features.
The high-capacity 5000mAh battery of ZenFone 3S Max is not only long lasting, but also makes your phone a power bank by allowing you to charge other devices with it. A fast charger and an OTG cable are provided in-the-box, along with earphones and a pin to eject the hybrid SIM tray. It is interesting to note that even with such a high-capacity battery, ZenFone 3S Max weighs just 175 grams and is only 8.85mm thick at the sides.
In a refreshing change, Android N powered ZenFone 3S Max has introduced on-screen buttons as the physical buttons have given away their space to the fingerprint sensor. Powered by an Octa-core 64 bit processor paired with a Mali T860 GPU, this device boasts of 3GB RAM and 32 GB storage that is further expandable up to 2TB with a Micro SD card. Being the first ASUS phone to use Android Nougat, ZenUI in this device has got a facelift too (However, nothing much has changed with ZenUI as its flurry of updates and notifications continue in this version as well - unless you explicitly stop them).
UPDATE 1: Zenfone 3S Max is now available both offline at online, at Rs. 14,999
UPDATE 2: The team at Ejnana has posted a detailed review on our Kannada site.
