New affordable phones sporting Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Octa-Core processor, developed for Indian market

ASUS, the Taiwanese leader in smartphones and IT technology announced global debut of ZenFone Lite (L1) and ZenFone Max (M1), compact 5.45” high performance smartphones priced very competitively at introductory prices of ₹5999/- and ₹7499/- respectively.

Both the smartphones will be co-marketed and distributed online under the recently announced partnership between ASUS and Flipkart, India’s largest e-commerce marketplace.

ASUS Announces the Availability of Zenfone 3 Max 5.5 (ZC553KL) in India

ASUS has announced the availability of Zenfone 3 Max 5.5 (ZC553KL) in India. Priced at INR 17,999, this smartphone can be purchased on select ASUS Preferred Partner’s retail outlets and all major Online Sales Portals. The 5.2 inch variant (ZC520TL), which was launched along with Zenfone 3 Max 5.5 last month, is already available at INR 12,999.

Zenfone 3 Max 5.5 features a 2.5D contoured glass touchscreen in a full-metal, aluminum-alloy body. It has an extremely long-lasting, high capacity 4100mAh lithium-polymer battery, giving users the freedom to use it for extended lengths without the need to charge it - with up to 38 days of standby time on 4G, 17 hours of talk time on 3G, 72 hours of music playback, 18 hours of video playback and 19 hours of Wi-Fi Web browsing. It also doubles up as a fast-charge power bank for charging other devices. The device also comes with an in-box USB OTG cable for reverse charging, file transfers as well as to connect to USB peripherals.

ASUS has launched the advanced version of one of its best-selling smartphones in the country – Zenfone Max. Known for its 5000 mAh battery and stylish looks, the smartphone is meant for users who are always on the move and demand superior performance along with an elegant style. The new Zenfone Max is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core processor and provides the users an option to opt for a 2GB or 3GB RAM.
